What I've been doing...

Some of you may be wondering what I've been doing with all my spare time. Well, I seem to stay quite busy most days. Other than what you may know about I recently took a wood sculpting seminar from a world class sculptor living here in Loveland. He has a unique approach to sculpting and the materials he uses. He grew up in west Texas and scavenges mesquite and juniper from the ranchers he knows there. If your interested to see some of his work go to:

Here's my first sculpture using his techniques. The base is Mesquite and the Treble Clef is from West Texas Juniper which can have a Tiger eye effect - some of it is really beautiful stuff. Actually it all is:
