Another update on The Dragon Child

Well, it looks like you can now order the book through the publisher's website. However we're still not sure how long till you would get it because we have yet to see a proof of the book (basically the first book off the press that Christy has to ok). But it is there ready to order, although I think shipping is a little high through their website, $3 per book, so that would make each book $18, ($15 + $3). But it'll be another little bit before it is in bookstore, I guess it needs to be loaded into a data base and there's over 1,000 books each month that go into the data base. So we'll see how it goes. But now you can go out and tell your friends!!! The publisher's website is... http://publishersdrive.com/

Keep Your Fingers Crossed!

I just submitted my second offer on the condo here in Midvale...please keep your fingers crossed that the seller will accept this time (granted, if it's the right place for me in my life right now...)! Why? Because it's so pretty and I love it. And then you all can come stay with me when you come visit. :)

Also, because this puppy would love to live there with me. Mah ha! Okay, just kidding. Mostly this picture just made me crack up and I had to post it cause it's so hilarious!

Awww! Wook at the wittle fatty with his wittle arms! Hahahahahahahahaha!

THE MOMENT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR...

Well, at least the moment that'll lead up to the moment we've all been waiting for. Christy's book is almost here. She received the final copy of the book manuscript that she ok'd and just today she got the final version of the book cover. So here is what her book will look like...
It shouldn't be too much longer till it is out on book shelves!!!

It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's SUPERCAM!

Something I always wanted to do to say "I did it" finally came to fruition this weekend! I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane at 11,500 feet, reaching terminal velocity at 134 mph headed straight to the earth!! Upon exiting the airplane I did 2 or 3 front flips and then into the free fall position doing a couple of 360 spins. At about 5000 feet AGL (Above Ground Level for you non-aviators) the parachute was deployed and I floated ever so gracefully back to earth. After practicing a few step turns of course and hitting a 3 point landing. Have a video that will be sent to me soon, Hope to post it here but for now, enjoy the pics!

Here goes........
Oh my, what have I done??
Perfectly good airplane?? This is a bucket of bolts. I'm lucky we got off the ground, why would I want to chance a landing in this thing? I'll take the quick exit please!
Do you see me?
On the glide path, turn to final....
We have Touchdown! Stood this landing up!I Done Did It!

Emma and Carrie visit

Emma and Carrie came to visit.
Emma loves cookies and is making her very own "Play Dough" variety.
Yummy!!!!

I give up! This is the dumbest html editor I've ever seen! Can't put anything where I want it.
The above pictures are from Colorado Marathon in Fort Collins, CO.
Carrie had some trouble but finished - yeah!!! (only 2/3 of the starters made it to the finish line).
As you can tell Marti and Emma joined in the fun.
It's fun to have a few visitors.
The lake is warming up. Anyone coming to cool off on the jet skiis this summer?
