All Good Things Must Come To An End...

I have one week from this day until I get on a plane...fly to Honolulu...fly to Vegas...and then fly to Denver. And then a week until I fly back to Salt Lake and go back to real life. It's been an amazing experience, and I feel like I had to come out here for a lot of reasons. The biggest of all, if anything, is that I have a greater sense of self, of who I am, and perhaps that's what I needed before moving on to bigger and better things in my life. So in celebration of my time here, I've been trying to take advantage of the island and the beauty and fun things available that you can't find anywhere else in the world...well, you can find it but it's just not the same. Here are a few pictures of this last week, from dirt biking (I should say MUD, not dirt!) and another hike along the Na Pali Coast...through thick mud, high-rise rivers with strong currents, and bamboo trees.

Me, Freddy, and Sherry

Freddy is crazy! We love him though.

Mud mask, anyone?

Good thing I was gonna trash these shoes...

It's a SCARY cave!

The Na Pali Coastline. SO beautiful!

A waterfall we crossed along the eight miles.

Shalane and I thought this tree was awesome. And it is.

On the way back, it got dark and windy and a little stormy.

I was all covered in mud, and I was sick, but I finished the whole thing!

It only took us nearly six hours to trek along the way, but it was an unforgettable day!
